Staci + Danny: A Love Shoot
This weekend we will be in the Berkshires, at the Cranwell Resort to photograph the wedding of two beautiful people. Meet Staci + Danny, two of the sweetest people you'll meet, and so perfect for each other. You can tell just by watching these two how much they adore each other. When we were brainstorming up ideas for their love shoot, one of the most important things was to make sure they had "snuggle time" together.
Staci + Dan live in the beautiful town of Westport and love to go for spontaneous walks on the beach together, so we started there. It was a slightly chilly, but otherwise "perfect" fall day at the beach, and the clouds were absolutely glorious....or "God clouds" as I kept referring to them as. We stayed there for a while, playing and enjoying the warm sunshine as the sun slowly set. Staci + Dan were such a pleasure to capture...Staci is so playful and warm and you can just tell by watching the joy in Dan's face how much he loves his little lady.

They love to laugh together...which is something we could all learn to do a little more with our significant others.
Did I mention how petite Staci is? I love how Dan kept spontaneously picking her up...so adorable!
Did I mention how beautiful the clouds were...and how well they complimented our beautiful couple?
Staci I hope you can jump in your wedding gown girl!

Another one of my favorites from the day. I love how into each other these two are...I think they forgot we were there most of the time (which is the way we like it : )

Right before we left, we found...yes that's right...SWINGS!
On our way back to their home, we stopped for a refreshing beverage at the Tavern on Main in Westport, one of their favorites places to relax.
I continually challenge myself to look at the world from a different perspective, and I love when I find shots in the least obivious of places. Like in the bottom of Staci's wine glass.
After a yummy beverage it was back home for some SNUGGLE TIME!!!
After recharging (and getting all toasty warm by the fire the Dan lit just for snuggle time), it was time to get all dolled up for a night on the town. It was off the South Norwalk or Sono, for a little night life.
I love how seductive this one is...you can see Staci smiling just a little bit.
One of Staci + Dan's favorite places to chill in the evening hours is at Mario Fontana’s, Ocean Drive. I had a hard time finding a website to link to, but this place is really something to experience. I found a New York Times review of the place online:

Thanks you so much guys!! We loved working with this couple and just shoot there wedding at the beautiful Cranwell Spa in Lenox MA.
As the subject of these photos we can only say how amazing we think Krystal and Paul are. Between these pictures and the slide show they displayed at the end of our wedding, they have shown they have incredible talent, skill and an innate ability to capture the essence of their subjects. We had so much fun with them that we are now trying to find some other way to work with them - how about a kids bar mitzvah in May guys?
You guys consistantly amaze me in the way you see things. I LOVE these pictures, I LOVE the way you work with clouds and sky, and most importantly the way you capture emotion. Simply beautiful.
